George Odingo is Agriculture and Food Security Specialist with over 30 years of experience in developing and directing food security strategies to increase smallholder productivity and incomes and has been in the forefront in promoting small agribusinesses. George has vast knowledge in agricultural policy, regulatory frameworks and technical issues.
Before joining BRAC International, George was Director of Agriculture Production and Systems for a USAID FTF Kenya Crops and Dairy Market Systems implemented by RTI International. He also worked with USAID FTF Kenya Agricultural Value chain Enterprises (KAVES) project implemented by FINTRAC Inc,. h also worked with Catholic Relief Services (CRS), Winrock International, Chemelil Sugar Company and in the public sector.
George holds an MSc from University of Reading, UK and BSc from University of Nairobi
